Jordan Reynolds won a place in an English title eliminator and extended his unbeaten record to six with a point triumph over Matt McCallum.

The Luton middleweight edged a battle by one round in the headline Top Tier Boxing show at the Brentwood Centre.

After having his glove raised the 28-year-old said: “I did it for the town and the people that believed in me. My career has been stop-start, so now we can start pushing forward, bigger shows.”

Reynolds, who had ‘Lutonian’ stitched into his shorts, took hordes of home town fans with him to Essex and he said of his travelling fanbase: “Look at this support. Unreal. Word of mouth. Organic. That’s organic support.”

Afterwards, ‘The Wanderer’ took to social media to say: ‘Fight of the night 🔥 We move to 6-0-0 with a victorious points win for the English title eliminator! Big credit to my opponent he asked a lot questions about me tonight for sure! 🤝 I hope I made you all proud, family, friends and sponsors 🧡’

In another post he wrote: ‘Get ready for more big fights ahead. We’re on the graft to make it a year to remember and be able to bring major titles back to Luton in the next 6 months.’
