A delighted Izzy Brown called the chants of his name from Luton supporters ‘amazing’ after his star debut in last night’s 3-1 Carabao Cup win over Ipswich.
Brown, who joined the Hatters on a season long loan from Chelsea on transfer deadline day, set up the first goal, for Lloyd Jones, and wowed fans with his range of passing, speed and tricks.
When asked about reception Brown said: “To be fair, I could hear it.
“I didn’t want to notice it because on the pitch you’ve got to focus, but it’s amazing the fans are singing my name already and hopefully they can sing it a few more times this season.”
