Graeme Jones has criticised the fixture schedule that will see Luton and Charlton play two Championship away games in 60 hours.
Town lost 3-2 at Fulham on Wednesday and will travel to Birmingham on Saturday, with the Blues having a 24 hours longer to recover and prepare after they beat Blackburn Rovers 1-0 at St Andrews.
Speaking after the defeat at Craven Cottage, Jones said: “You know the Championship. There’s only us and Charlton going to play two away games on the trot in 60 hours when the opposition has played on a Tuesday night.
“Little Luton and little Charlton aren’t getting treated very fairly but we’ll recover, we’ll be competitive and we’ll be going their to win.
“I need to assess physical stats and the tactical aspect of Birmingham. I know Birmingham play 4-4-2, but not in detail.”
