Luton’s only indie and alternative radio show has linked up with Luton Town Football Club to showcase the very best of new new and emerging music.
Stadium announcer Matt Crawley, and one half of Transmission on Diverse FM, will be curating match day playlists for the club in a collabration with Shoot Music.
Transmission has been introducing all the latest and greatest new indie new to Luton for more than a year, giving some of the best local artists the chance to be heard by a new audience, both on the radio, every Monday night 8-10pm, and on match days at Kenilworth Road.
Tunes from the likes of Luna Rosa, October Drift and Bedford band The Courts will feature tomorrow night for Luton Town’s first game back in the Championship for 12 years, when they host Middlesbrough.
Matt said: “I’m excited to continue giving these artists a platform at Kenilworth Road. Something I’ve been building and working on for the past six seasons. And now with Shoot Sports Playlists and Transmission Indie working together it will hopefully bring them to an even wider audience.”
