Luton midfielder Elliot Thorpe has joined League One side Burton Albion for the remainder of the season.
The 21-year-old made his EFL debut last month, coming off the bench in the Carabao Cup defeat against Newport County and league games against Preston North End and Bristol City.
Thorpe’s the third young Hatter to leave on loan on the transfer deadline day after Dion Pereira joined Bradford and Admiral Muskwe linked up with Carlos Mendes Gomes at Fleeetwood.
Following Thorpe’s arrival from Tottenham Hotspur in the early part of last season, the Wales U21 international had made his senior debut against Cambridge United in the FA Cup last February and will now gain invaluable experience in the third tier.
He could feature for the Brewers as early as Saturday when they travel to Oxford United, and next week he could go head-to-head with Mendes Gomes and Muskwe as Burton host Fleetwood Town.
The next time I read a blog, I hope that it wont fail me as much as this particular one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read through, however I genuinely believed you would have something useful to say. All I hear is a bunch of complaining about something that you can fix if you werent too busy seeking attention.
