Luton are close to sealing a deal for Bristol City’s Welsh international midfielder Joe Morrell, according to reports.
The Telegraph and Bristol Live have said that the 23-year-old is in town today to complete a deal worth around £1million.
The central midfielder only penned a new three-year deal with the Robins in November, but has fallen behind former Town academy graduate Tyreeq Bakinson in the City pecking order.
That’s despite the 23-year-old becoming a regular fixture for Wales under Ryan Giggs, though he missed out on last night’s 1-0 UEFA Nations League win in Bulgaria, in which Luton’s on-loan left back Rhys Norrington-Davies made his senior international debut.
