Luton sign Leicester midfielder on loan

Luton Town transfer news

Luton have signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall on a season-long loan from Leicester City, after the midfielder committed his long-term future to the Foxes until 2024.

The 22-year-old follows the transfer deadline day loan capture of Sam Nombe from Milton Keynes and is manager Nathan Jones’ seventh signing of the summer transfer window, while Andrew Shinnie departed today for a loan spell at Charlton Athletic.

Dewsbury-Hall was named in the Foxes’ Europa League squad, having featured in the FA Cup and EFL Cup against Brentford (his senior debut) and Arsenal, respectively.

The midfielder spent the second half of last term on loan at League One Blackpool last season after joining them in January, scoring four goals in 10 appearances before the campaign came to an abrupt end in the lower leagues due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
