A Luton restaurant has scooped a third successive national Food Awards prize, saying the latest win reflects years of hard work and a growing reputation for quality.
Lemon Crispy Chicken and Pizza on Old Bedford Road were named the south of England’s takeaway of the year at an awards bash in Birmingham.
The ceremony, which recognise some of the best hospitality businesses across the country, are judged primarily on public nominations. That makes the result a notable endorsement from local customers who continue to vote the takeaway to the top of its category.
In a celebratory message shared with supporters, Lemon Crispy Chicken and Pizza, said: “Three-time Food Award England winners — a journey of purpose and perseverance.
