Luton to face Port Vale in pre-season trip

A Luton Town XI will travel to Vale Park to face League Two side Port Vale in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 30th July.

The Hatters have already announced a trip to Scottish Premiership side Dundee United four days earlier, and then they will be sending a mixed squad of first team and under-21 players to Vale Park for the first time since their League Two promotion-winning campaign in 2017/18.

The Valiants were relegated from League One last season and will be hoping to kick on in League Two under Darren Moore.

Pre-season fixtures confirmed for Luton Under-21s are:

Sheffield United XI vs Luton Town XI (behind closed doors) – Friday 12th July, 1pm kick-off

Hitchin Town vs Luton Town XI – Tuesday 16th July, 7:30pm kick-off

MK Irish vs Luton Town XI – Saturday 20th July, 1:00pm kick-off

Berkhamsted vs Luton Town XI – Tuesday 23rd July, 7pm kick-off

St Albans City vs Luton Town XI – Saturday 27th July, 3pm kick-off

Kings Lynn Town vs Luton Town XI – Saturday 3rd August, 3pm kick-off

Slough Town vs Luton Town XI – Tuesday 6th August, 7:45pm kick-off
