Luton Town striker Oli Lynch will continue his development in the Football League after joining League Two side Port Vale on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old academy graduate, who has supported the Hatters since childhood, is yet to make his senior debut for the club but has steadily climbed the non-league pyramid over the last three seasons.

Lynch spent last season with National League outfit Tamworth, where he scored 12 goals in 44 appearances as the Lambs secured an 11th-place finish in their first campaign back in the fifth tier.

The move to Port Vale represents another step up for the striker, who has also gained valuable senior experience during loan spells with Hitchin Town, Dulwich Hamlet and Hemel Hempstead Town.

His most prolific spell came at Hemel during the second half of the 2024/25 season, when he netted 11 goals in just 18 appearances in National League South. Those performances earned him a contract extension with Luton and a recall to Kenilworth Road for the closing stages of the Championship campaign.

Having impressed in the sixth tier, then the fifth tier, Lynch will now test himself in League Two as he looks to push closer to a first-team breakthrough with the Hatters.

Port Vale, who were relegated from League One last season, will be aiming to mount an immediate promotion challenge, with Lynch hoping regular EFL football can provide the next stage in his development. Last season, the Hatters loaned Ethon Archer to the Staffordshire outfit.
