Man arrested after ‘shots fired’ in Marsh Farm

Bedfordshire Police have arrested a man on suspicion of affray after reports of “shots being fired” in a town.

Bedfordshire Police said a “firearm” was discharged between the alleyway of Morris Close and Waleys Close, in Marsh Farm on Monday at approximately 4:10pm.

While there were no reports of injuries, a statement from the police said: “While incidents involving firearms are rare in our county, we understand that they are concerning for our community.

“We’re working hard to identify those involved and we’re appealing for anyone with information to get in touch with us to help us with this investigation.”

Police are are continuing to appeal for information, CCTV or doorbell footage from the surrounding area to support their investigation.
