Luton striker John McAtee has joined League One side Barnsley on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old forward was signed last summer from Grimsby Town after helping the Mariners secure promotion from the National League.
McAtee immediately returned to Brundell Park on loan and made 31 appearances last season, helping Grimsby reach the Emirates FA Cup quarter-final.
Yet to play competitively for Town, and with the Hatters signing Jacob Brown from Stoke City, McAtee told Barnsley’s website: “The move has been in the pipeline for quite a while. I was buzzing to come down and get it all sorted.”
