Myles Smith unveils new single ahead of sold-out US tour as smash-hit summer continues

Luton singer-songwriter sensation Myles Smith is back with a new single, ‘Wait For You,’ a heartfelt as he continues to break new ground international, having established himself as one of the planet’s break-out stars of the summer.

Already resonating with fans after initially teasing its release on socials, ‘Wait For You’ explores
commitment in someone’s darkest moment, serving as an unwavering promise of patience and
enduring love.

Of the new single, out now via Sony Music UK/RCA Records, Smith says it’s “an introspective and deeply emotional track. It delves into the struggle of watching a friend (my previous self) battle their inner demons and their commitment to stand by them through their darkest times. The lyrics reflect a promise of unwavering support and patience, capturing the essence of a relationship that transcends time and hardship.”

‘Wait For You’ follows the meteoric success of Myles’ latest global hit, “Stargazing.” An
undeniable song of the summer, the single is approaching 400 million streams worldwide, reached number four on the UK chart with ten weeks in the top 10, hit number 1 on the UK Airplay chart, and marked Myles’ debut on the US Billboard Hot 100, with a peak of #40.

The track also continues to surge at radio, currently Top 5 at Alternative, Top 15 at AAA, Top 20 at Hot AC, and Top 25 at Pop radio. Myles made his US television debut last month, performing the track on NBC’s TODAY. ‘Stargazing’ was also featured on former President Barack Obama’s 2024 Summer Playlist.
