A new food spot and an expanded old favourite are among the new and improved stores coming to the Luton Point shopping centre in the next few weeks.
Hot on the heels of the recent successful opening of Spud Kingz in Central Square, Tikka Nation is set to open on Feast Street before Christmas, bringing a vibrant array of succulent tikkas, street food favourites, and authentic flavours to the centre.
Their eighth branch to open in the UK, Tikka Nation describe themselves as the gateway to India’s culinary treasures, where every bite tells a story.
Meanwhile, bakery chain Greggs will move to a larger space within the centre, also on Feast Street.
Children’s toy retailer ToyTown recently opened their store at Luton Point, in time for Christmas, while brand-new fashion and home outlet Choice have chosen Luton as their next location, offering well-known fashion and home labels with up to 70 per cent off the original retail price.
A large new Sports Direct and Frasers range of brands are also opening early next year in the former Debenhams space.
Roy Greening, centre director at Luton Point, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming new stores and seeing the expansion of others here at the centre. 2024 has proved to be a fantastic year here at Luton Point and it is great to be heading into 2025 with such positivity and more new stores to be announced shortly.
“Our commitment to delivering the best for our customers includes bringing new names to the centre to add to the quality of their visit, and these leasing initiatives reaffirm that commitment. We are also continuing talks with potential Post Office operators and hope to bring forward some positive news around their future soon.
“2025 is already shaping up well here at Luton Point, and we would like to wish all our customers health, wealth and happiness for the coming year.”
