Luton’s Revée Walcott-Nolan will be a two-times Olympian when she heads to Paris after being picked for Team GB to compete in the 1500m.
The 29-year-old, who began running at Luton Athletics Club and went on to win the British 1500m title in 2021, made her major championships debut in the Tokyo Games three years ago, but missed out on the semi-finals of the by 0.01 seconds.
After moving abroad last year to join the On Athletics Club (Europe) In March, Walcott-Nolan reached the final of the World Indoors in Glasgow in March and then secured her spot at her second Games by finishing third at the British Athletics Championships.
Posting on Instagram, Walcott-Nolan wrote: ‘Officially selected for the Paris Olympics! 🇫🇷
Soon to be 2xOlympian’.

“Athletics fans were treated to some outstanding breakthrough performances at the British Championships in Manchester last week which has given us a glimpse of what we can expect next month in Paris.”
