Jordan Reynolds has promised to put Matt McCallum “to sleep” when the two clash in an English title eliminator on the Resilience show at the Brentwood Centre on Saturday.
It will be the Luton middleweight’s first ten-round bout and he had a heated exchange when the pair faced off online.
Reynolds, 28, last fought in February when he knocked out Mohamed Cherif Benchadi in the second round at Wembley Arena. He’ll be looking to extend his unbeaten record to six against a southpaw opponent that comes off the back of two straight losses.
Facing off against the Northumberland puncher, Reynolds said in a Boxing Social video: “I take Matt McCallum out of there, early. He’s getting set about. There’s levels in this game.”
Speaking directly to his 32-year-old rival, the Lutonian aded: “As soon as I land, I’m going to put you to sleep and I’ll tuck you in after.”
