ordan Reynolds has his sights set on the Commonwealth crown said he’s “two levels above” Joel Bartell as he prepares to do battle in an headline eliminator clash at the Indigo at The O2 Arena in London tomorrow (July 6).

The unbeaten middleweight from Farley Hill, who was a decorated amateur, is aiming to make it eight professional victories on the spin, with his six-bout opponent also unbeaten.

In a post on his Facebook page, Reynolds wrote: ‘I’m Looking to make a big statement where I go 8-0-0 for the eliminator for the COMMONWEALTH TITLE.’

The Luton fighter was last in the ring in December when he beat Bahadur Karami on points, but he has some experience of fighting Bartell when they sparred as amateurs.

“He’s gonna be game. He’s gonna be fit and conditioned, nice straight shots, sharp, but I just think I’m a level or two levels above him, to be honest with you,” Reynolds told International Boxing News.

“Everything he can do, I can do one or two levels better. If I can’t beat the likes of Joe Bartell, then what can I do in the sport, if I’m honest with you?

“He’s a nice kid, he’s only young, but I think they’ve fucked up a little bit here.”
