Ska, punk and reggae festival announced as easydread join record label

Luton Underground, the town’s new music venue are teaming up with easydread to host the inaugural SCROTEFEST featuring a host of the UK’s finest reggae, ska and punk acts

The festival will take place on Saturday September 14 (6pm to midnight) at the Guilford Street spot and the acts already announced are:

Vegetable Collective
Lead Shot Hazard
Eat The Evidence
Baldhead & The Dreads 

Tickets are £5 in advance from Eventbrite or £8.50 on the door. 

The news comes after easydread signed with Bad Granola Records earlier this month. Announcing them as part of their roster, the label said: ‘We are delighted to announce that our mates easydread will be joining our roster of bands. We’ve put these guys on loads over the last few years and they have some banging tunes as well as being lovely people. Give em a big “Bad Granola” welcome and check em out. We hope to have a new album out by the end of the year.’ 

The band added: ‘So…..this is happening then. Muchas excite!!! Thanks to Bad Granola Records for giving us the chance to take a new step in this crazy, crazy world, we look forward to big things ahead.’
