Luton are close to signing Birmingham City star Tahith Chong for a reported club record £4million with the attacker having a medical.
Personal terms are said to have been agreed with the Dutch attacker who came up through the Manchester United youth ranks after moving from his homeland in 2016.
The 23-year-old was snapped up by Birmingham in summer last year after a season-long loan spell with the second city club in which he terrorised Town at Kenilworth Road as part of a 5-0 humbling at the hands of the Blues.
Chong was absent from the squad that the Blues took to Spain on a pre-season tour and had been linked with Luton, with Sky Sports reporting that he is close to becoming the newest Hatters recruit ahead of their debut campaign in the Premier League.
