Luton Town have this evening been drawn at home to Championship rivals Reading in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Hatters have already faced the Royals in the League Cup this season, triumphing 1-0 on that occasion.

The tie is scheduled to take place between Friday 8th and Monday 11th January 2021, not long after the two sides go head-to-head on Boxing Day in the Championship.

Town have yet to register a goal against the Berkshire club in the league, since returning to the second tier, losing 3-0 and then 5-0 last term.

Though they have met six times in the League Cup, they’ve only ever met once before in the FA Cup, and on that occasion the Hatters ran out 2-1 winners at Kenilworth Road in December 1963.
