Rob Edwards is confident that loan goalkeeper Ethan Horvath won’t be recalled by Nottingham Forest, but says any discussions to make his move permanent will have to wait.

“(I’m) delighted. I’ve seen lots of good things about him and heard loads of great things, he’s a wonderful human being, and a very talented goalkeeper, magnificent.
“(It was a) world-class save I think, the one right at the death and he’s a pleasure to work with so we’re delighted with his form and hopefully that will continue for the rest of the season.”
Edwards also confirmed the contract discussions for other players in his squad are taking place on a regular basis.
He said: “Yes, there’s always that side to look at as well, when the right time to offer contracts and try and tie people down.
“Those things obviously don’t just happen very, very quickly, they can take a while, conversations like that, because there can be several people involved in those conversations as well.
“It’s got to be right for the club, got to be right for the player, there are agents involved, families involved, so there’s lots of conversations, but we have to look at contractual situations, whose up when and we do look to try and tie people down for longer if that’s what we want to do.
“Yes, those conversations are happening in our recruitment meetings as well, so we’re in regular dialogue about that as a club.”
