Luton Town supporters have been told that their season ticket prices have been frozen for the 2026/27 campaign, with the Hatters’ official fans’ trust hailing the club for agreeing to their recommendation to not “pay a penny more”.
The decision, announced as preparations begin for what will be the penultimate season at Kenilworth Road before moving to Power Court in 2028, has been warmly welcomed by the Luton Town Supporters’ Trust, who revealed they had been involved in discussions before the prices were finalised.
In a statement reacting to the announcement, the Trust said: “The LTST board applauds the announcement today that the prices for season tickets next season, our penultimate campaign at Kenilworth Road, have been frozen.
“We are pleased to confirm that the club approached us for our opinion on season ticket prices for the 2026/27 campaign in the lead up to the prices being revealed, and we are happy that our recommendation of freezing the prices has been taken on board and now made official.”
The move comes after a season in which supporters continued to turn up in numbers despite inconsistent results for much of the campaign, before a late surge saw Town narrowly miss out on the play-offs.
While acknowledging the wider financial pressures facing football clubs, the Trust say they made clear they felt fans deserved recognition for their loyalty.
“While we recognise that the costs of everything are increasing, including running a football club, we felt that your unwavering support during a tough season deserved to be rewarded through not having to pay a penny more for a season ticket next term,” their statement to members read.
“We are glad the club agreed and would now urge as many people as possible to take up this wonderful offer as we continue to make Kenilworth Road a fortress, to help Jack and the boys make our penultimate campaign at our famous home as successful as possible.”
The club’s own statement struck a similar tone, placing emphasis on unity and momentum heading into next season following a strong end to the campaign.
“Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign, attention now turns to the next chapter,” it read.
“In recognition of the continued support, and the role that backing will play again moving forward, all season card prices have been frozen at last season’s rates.
“With momentum on the pitch, plans in place off it and another important summer ahead, the focus is now on continuing that upward trajectory together.”
Renewals will be open from Wednesday 6 May through to Friday 5 June, with instalment options again available for supporters.
The waiting list for season cards remains closed for now, underlining continued high demand, although any additional availability later in June will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
