Photo feature: Luton lose 4-1 to Brighton on Premier League debut

Luton Town began life in the Premier League with a disappointing 4-1 at Brighton and Hove Albion, though there were still opportunities to take some positivity from a game which the Hatters hand five debuts to summer signings, Thomas Kaminski, Mads Andersen, Issa Kaboré, Tahith Chong and Ryan Giles.

Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu as made history as the only footballer to ever play in all five top divisions of English football for the same club, while Carlton Morris’ 81st minute penalty put him in the Hatters history books as the clubs first ever scorer in the Premier League.

And with 3,000 Town supporters making a din throughout at the Amex Stadium it was still a day to remember.

Here are photos from the milestone day taken by Liam Smith.
