Luton’s rebel-rousers, SOURDOUGH, rise again with their brand new sonic rampage, ‘Mind and Body’, released today (January 28) in collaboration with Vandalism Begins At Home – the town’s prime music & arts fanzine and record label.

Produced by sound wizard Ben ‘Faz’ Farestvedt, who has overseen radio hits by the hotly-tipped Sarpa Salpa and Low Girl, this live favourite is a statement of intent by the noisenik trio, and is the first taste of their highly anticipated debut EP coming this summer. Be prepared for your new earworm as the chorus, “I can’t help myself, I can’t help no one else”, takes residence.

Frontman Jacob Kyte said: “I started writing ‘Mind and Body’ after watching the Kurt Cobain documentary ‘Montage of Heck’. The song began life at a much slower pace, but that helped me craft the lyrics that come from such a personal experience.

“I’ve a friend with epilepsy, and he would refuse to take his medication, which was of course difficult to witness. But at the same time I was just as guilty of not looking after myself.

“The line, ‘Stomach aching all the time, some bodies break before the mind’, relates to an issue I had, but I stubbornly wouldn’t get looked at. If you can’t sort yourself out, how can you expect to be of help to someone else?

“I put all those frustrations into ‘Mind and Body’, cranked it up and made it the riotous tune we have today.”

Closing 2021 with a triumphant performance at Luton’s legendary music festival Castlefest, SOURDOUGH are primed and ready to hit 2022 with all the force required.

The release of ‘Mind and Body’ is record label Vandalism Begins at Home’s second release of 2022 after the Luton collective teamed up with Stevenage dream-pop duo Peachstone to re-release their debut self-titled EP.

Nice to you, i am Kenia Lewellen but might call me anything you like. It’s not only a common thing but the things i like doing is doing 3d graphics but I’ve been taking on new things lately. Missouri is the only place I have been residing in but now i am considering alternatives. Taking care of animals has been my profession for a period of time.
Put your ear to the fence, and have your friend tap the opposite end along with a rock or stick. For its size, it arguably produces the very best audio playback among any other models your past market.
