Luton centre back Tom Lockyer has been called up by Wales’ for the European Championships a day after missing out.
The centre half, who had been injured since February, after ankle surgery, missed out on Rob Page’s 26-man but then got the nod after the forced withdrawal of James Lawrence to injury.
Lockyer was a regular during Euro 2020 qualifiers, winning 13 caps.
He has been working alone with Luton’s sport science team in recent weeks and will join up with club-mate Joe Morrell for Wednesday’s friendly against France and Albania on Saturday ahead of Wales’ first competition clash against Switzerland on Saturday June 12.
Their other two group games are against Turkey and Italy.
