George Saville has left Luton Town to join League One rivals Bromley on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old Northern Ireland international joined the Hatters as a free agent in last summer after being released by Millwall.
He made 43 appearances during his only season at Kenilworth Road, scoring twice, and played a part in Luton’s Vertu Trophy success when he came on as a late substitute in the final against Stockport County as the Hatters lifted the trophy.
Bromley have described the midfielder as an “experienced” addition as they look to strengthen their squad for the new League One campaign, with the move subject to FA and EFL approval.
Saville began his senior career at Chelsea before gaining League One experience during a loan spell with Brentford.
He made his Championship debut for Millwall in 2012 during another loan spell before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers permanently in 2014.
After a loan spell with Bristol City, where he helped the club win the EFL Trophy, Saville returned to Millwall before making a permanent move to the club.
A move to Middlesbrough followed in 2018 after a successful loan spell, although Saville subsequently returned to Millwall for a third spell, spending another four seasons in the Championship.
In a short statement, Luton thanked Saville for his contribution during his season with the club and wished him well for the future.
